We meet together every Sunday at 10:30AM at our location, 3301 Fort Avenue, 24501. We sing, pray, give, study the Bible, and share a Communion Meal on every first Sunday.
A crucial part of anything spiritual, prayer is central to every meeting, every plan, whether determining what we should pray or boldly thanking God for the answer before we even see it. Every Sunday we set aside a Ministry Time in which we pray for one another.
We observe communion as a meal the first Sunday of each month, enjoying as much participation as possible by welcoming each one to bring side dishes, casseroles, salads, or desserts. Each meal is begun with breaking bread, symbolizing the physical body of Jesus, as well as the gathering of broken people who are believers in Jesus Christ
We believe that the recognition of His body broken and beaten as well as the brokenness of one another’s lives keep us alive, well, and strong
We end our meal by lifting our cups and remembering the blood of Jesus, shed for the forgiveness of sin
We are developing a system of small groups, meeting in homes and other locations.
Our support of churches globally includes two areas/ministries:
1. Maoz Israel, a movement of establishing congregations and believers in the nation of Israel.
2. Funding Foursquare Children's Gospel Boxes to send worldwide, equipping leaders to share the Gospel with 150 children at a time.
From hymns to current praise songs, you will hear a variety of styles. We aim to bring songs that are biblical and easy to sing. Sunday morning is not a performance on a stage to be watched; it is an opportunity for God's people to sing together with joy unto the Lord!
SOZO ministry is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry aimed to get to the root of things hindering your connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
